Burning Bush by David Wagner

In autumn, the burning bush turns from dark green to bright red.  Usually, you see these bushes planted together, sometimes in a line.

This year, the leaves on the Burning Bushes around here are slow to turn red. Most of them have just a small part of the leaves that have turned dark red and not yet the bright red. The parts of the bushes that have turned reddish are facing the afternoon sun. The rest of the bush is dark green.
