A bunch of Zinnias

Another bunch of Zinnias

I was walking around yesterday and it was a sunny and some clouds day. The wind had gusts that were chilly and I wore my earmuffs.

I noticed that in many gardens there were tall Zinnias. They were brightly colored and looked quite happy.

Zinnias are sturdy flowers. They made it through the hot and dry days of summer.  There hasn’t been a real frost yet, so they are still doing well.

Zinnia like full sun and can be dry just a bit. In this area, they are annuals,  which means that they don’t live through the winter. You have to plant new Zinnia plants in the spring.
