These two pictures are examples of how beautiful Marigolds are against a background of green.

Marigolds come in a lot of warm colors. Warm colors are reds, yellows, golds and oranges. Cool colors are blues and greens.

Some Marigolds are short and others can get quite tall. They have a sharp tangy smell. Some gardeners plant them near tomato plants to fend off bugs.

Marigolds are hardy like Zinnias. They don’t mind hot weather or full sun. They will be okay until  frost.

Marigolds are annuals and won’t return in the spring in this area.

Marigolds are cheery flowers and they stand out in any garden.
