Humpback whales are large. They are around 39 to 52 feet long and weigh about 79,000 pounds.

The caption said that the whale was in the singing position. I’m unsure of what that means.

Humpback whales are famous for their singing. They sing a song for about 20 minutes at a time. The whale experts don’t know why they sing. I’d say because they want to sing.
